MASTER PLAN

City planning is a continuous process.
In the changing scenario the requirements of the city also change during the plan period.
Provisions are to be done for change in the plan.
But care should be taken not to change decisions of vital importance to the welfare of the community.

Various alternatives have been tried by different countries for planning their cities based on their socio political system.
- Structure plan
- Concept plan
- Rolling plan (continuous plan)
- Land use plan
