The Gap between the demand and supply of dwelling units of various types for different sections of the society.
Total housing storages = Quantitative storages + Qualitative storages
Quantitative Housing deficit (shortage )= no of household -no of dwelling house
Qualitative Housing deficit (shortage ) = no of inhabitable house + Overcrowding ( excess of households over dwelling unit)
