Bathtub Pros

  • Reduce Stress : A Jacuzzi can be a good place in which to relax with family and friends. You can spend time together sipping a drink or simply having a chat.
  • Great for relaxing sore muscles.
  • Ideal for bathing small children.
  • Available in a variety of sizes to suit all size bathrooms.
  • Improve Circulation: The hot water and bubbling of a Jacuzzi will cause body temperature to rise, which in turn will dilate blood vessels.
  • Freestanding units can be placed just about anywhere, as they are finished on all sides.
  • A wide variety of design choices (style, material, tile surrounds etc.)
  • Plenty of special features available including air jets, whirlpool versions, etc.
Bathtub Cons
  • When it comes to energy efficiency and water conservation, a quick shower virtually always beats a bath.
  • Climbing in and out of the bathtub can be difficult for the elderly, the disabled or those with limited mobility.
  • Can be difficult for older people and people with injuries to get in and out.
  • Takes up a lot of space.
  • Requires a lot of water.
  • You need a water heater with the adequate capacity to fill the tub with hot water.
  • It can be time consuming to fill a tub and bathe.

Why should you be picking Bathtubs over Showers?

Well, because they’re immersing! Haha!

Coming to a logical assessment, bathtubs are more relaxing than showers, and save you more water and energy.

Considering you use a low-flow shower and remain under it for 10 minutes, it will end up pouring 20 gallons of water on you. If it were a high-flow shower the water consumption would be anywhere between 40-50 gallons.

However, with a bathtub you can use the same 20 gallons of water to completely fill it up and stay in it (in the same temperature) for as long as you wish, or as long as the water stays hot. And, this generally stays hot for at least 30 minutes. So if you eventually like taking hour-long showers, you might end up saving more sitting inside a bathtub, than standing under a shower.

www.xtwostore.com is an international supplier of showers, bathtubs, and various other ceramic products. The company deals with over 1.5 lakh products for bathroom and kitchen spaces and is still on the run to add in more products.

You must check out their entire store that’s systematically organized for easy browsing and purchasing.
